Barcode:

2D barcode is more complex than linear barcodes according to it’s physical structure.  A 2d or Two Dimensional Barcode is graphical image that stores information axis X-Y exis means horizontally and vertically.  The maximum character storage capacity of 2D Barcode is 7,089 characters.  2D Barcode are also knows as Quick Response Code due to fast data accession capability.  Generally 2D Barcode are used for mobile marketing purpose.  2D barcode is also known as Matrix code, represents data in two dimensional way. It represents more data per unit area. 2D bar codes can contain multiple pieces of information in a very small space.
